Air relocation fitted!

hi all

had a day of sorting the car out.. gave it a full service including dizzy cap, rotor arm, leads and spark plugs, oil etc..then came the fun part, which was to fit the air relocation kit i got from jones36..

fitted well..and now sounds mad on boost...nothing like i was expecting..can really hear the tubby!

so if anyone is thinking about doing this..do it..makes a good difference. and taking the ac out is not a problem!

thanks to jones36 and toby btw!

unless your cal. you can use a bit of crap ducting that will split easily and cable tie a sponge on the end. also point it to the floor so it sucks in any water that you may happen to pass near too ;)

You forgot about making sure the sponge is right next to the downpipe, so that it will very possibly catch fire then get sucked into the turbo.;)

oh yeah, sorry about that. need to make sure that if the water dont fuck it up, the heat from the exhaust will !!!

Hey mate,

You will need 42mm from the turbo (stock CT9 Inlet) to maybe 50-60mm pending on what pipe size you will use. It's not that hard, the oil filter is very close but you can just about avoid it. We can supply silicone hoses if you need.

Don't hesitate to contact us if you need some help.

Kind Regards,

Toby
