I wouldnt normally comment on a member being banned as it is their business however this directly involves me so I feel I am justified in commenting.
Having received numerous abusive messages on this forum, via email and on other forums with threats of violence toward me if I show up to any meets or when I agreed to purchase an item from a member on here I received a message advising he would be there when I went to pick up the item I have no intention of unbanning him.
Incidentally he didnt turn up when I went to pick up the item in question.
Generally I find most people are very different to how they are online which is kind of unfortunate. Some people are pretty abrasive in a forum scenario and in real life are pretty sound. When messages online turn to threats of violence I think it is over stepping the mark. As in real life I dont take kindly to that type of crap and am not interested in Internet battles.
If any other member reported that they were getting threats of physical violence from a member we would deal with that, I dont see why it should be any different because the threat was made to a member of staff on the site.
Some people need to remember that this forum is for the enjoyment of the majority, the rules cannot satisfy everyone but they are in place for a reason. When over with a member of the site recently I was told about the member in questions car and I agree it is a shame he is not on here to share info about his project, that said however it is his own doing.
He has our email address and if he wants to come back on the site he can get in touch. The part I find a bit shit is that I bet I would probably get on with the chap in person but hey life is what it is and forums are what they are

Definatly, I know a couple, I meAn take gaz, nice on the forum, but such a dick in real life :haha: :haha: lol, jokes. But seriously that's a better reason than any to ban someone, pretty pathetic to be threatening people on line really
