i think it should remain as it is... no street racing posts! cos if we had a section like this, everyone (well not everyone but most of the peeps over here) will do street racing to show off there pride and joy in action and can increase the risk of accidents!

as for what we do in reality... I'm SURE that almost anyone over here did some "street racing" or some spirited driving and breaking the laws on speed limits etc.. isn't a good part of owning a glanza or gt cos its a nippy car??

as for the comments on Malta.. yes unfortunately we don't have tracks over here! drag racing or hill climb and as nexia said its a bit hard to participate now cos of all the regulations they did. infact there are many people over here using the streets that are used for hill climb during the night just for the fun of it... but anyway we have to live with that for now!!

Ill give you the number 1 reason why having that section is a bad idea beside the obvious, it begins with a D and ends in and O. Thats right DEANO can you imagine the stories? i was racing a 2,000 bhp skyline and i was in my mates 1 litre micra it was close but i had him, blah blah blah.

Very sad story and sorry for that but accidents will happen whatsoever so are you one that wouldnt travel by plane cos it might fall? :p there is always a risk in whatever you are doing as you said you could be driving sensible and another guy smash into you and kill you or leave you disabled so did your driving sensible change anything in this case ?no !i know i live ones so i try to enjoy the only hobby i have i dont drink ,i dont smoke , and i dont do drugs so shouldnt i have one funken enjoyment in life?

35 ? you dont seem to be coming across as a man whos matured very much over his 35 years on the planet..statements like "so are you one that wouldnt travel by plane cos it might fall?" prove it. air travel is highly regulated, well planned , rigourously monitored and controlled by highly skilled experienced pilots, the goal is to take off , remain in the air and land all the while having full regard for the safety of the passengers. I can only assume if your hobby was flying you would pull up beside and f 15 in a hanglider with a propeller on the back and try and race. What you are doing is pushing consumer cars to their handling and power limits, driving dangerously with no convern for other members of the public on these roads wether there in a car, bike, motorbike, bus or pedestrian. Its too easy and too common for someone to lose control while driving safely or normally never mind testing faith racing around thinking your michael schumacher for the purpose of bragging rights. You cant argue this is your reason for doing so if you are in favour of a street racing section so you can share your "amazing feats" with the rest of us.

Rules are rules and the stance this site has on street racing is a well chosen mature one. It keeps the shit talking boy racers out and hopefully keeps the starlet from becoming the next chavtastic boy racer car of choice. Not only this but you can be held accountable and face a court case for what is said on these forums should a member of the police deside to join and wish to charge you. Which isnt entirely unheard of.

Having frequented other car forums where everythings a lot more juvenile with threads of corsas v 1.4 civic and vtech fanboys on about how they smoked wrx becoming annoying and almost cringeworthy to read i hope tgtt stays the way it is and not go downhill.

This a free and public forum, there is many more like it so if you dont like the rules find another which will supply you with the street racing section you need.

i'm sure 99.99% of members on here has broken legal speed limit before, i does a bit of spirited driving meself some times on the motorway. and i dont think we need section for street racing things like that will ruin the site and its best to keep it for it self or pub talk

fair play to ady apologising, he obviously just didnt know the rules.

As for street racing, its the persons own choice to do it or not.

when you sign up the this forum you accept the rules etc so why talk about it or try and change the rules that are here!

i think its silly talking about street racing on here if you do it cause there are public servants(if u like) that read forums etc check your ip address and know where you live blah blah balh. i also think its silly street racing at all.

Who knows, a common member or even a mod cud be the reporter. ;)

I fail to see what that has to do with the site............. that is somone's personal youtube profile. what people put up on the internet is up to them as long as it's not posted here.

and plenty of the "staff" have said that yes they have acted irresponsibly from time to time, but the point is lets not talk about this crap so no member gets hung out to dry for it!

read jays post, he doesnt say "hi im jay the angel" it says, in paraphrase hi im jay, if you break the law dont come on here to sing about it.
