I've got one thats been braced, in two places by a professional exhaust specialist in Glasgow.

If you're after a cheap manifold, they'll last a few months anyway (Montana's did and it was braced)

Mine is up for sale if you fancy it, I've got pictures of it too.

if you buy, certainly brace them, cost around £30 to brace them.

Then its just a ticking time bomb for when it cracks.....i would save up and get a mild steel one, or if you desperate, buy a 2nd hand braced one.

lets see some pics Dave, did yours not crack then? whats the fit like? they need skimming?

I'll fire some up 2nite mate. It hasn't cracked, but I also haven't used it yet! I was saving it for my rebuild, but I've got other plans now.

The fit seems fine, I've compared it to a WEPR and it seems the same fitment wise (spacing for studs etc).

If I'm honest, its not perfectly flat, but the guys who braced it said I was waaay overly picky, and it'd be a perfectly good fit.

the down pipes are very restrictive and unbraced.

the manifolds tend to crack.

imo, buy danes manifold (it is pretty cheap) and a japspeed decat or something

wouldnt bother wasting my money..

best thing to do is to buy once & buy well... why do things more than once when u could have done them well the 1st time round?!

Wouldnt bother with it mate had one and it looked nice when just fitted but looked ugly when it cracked and the turbo was hanging from the oilfeed and return! I went for a zisco mild steel and the power went up (can be felt more midrange) and its very neatly built. So they are well recomended

do it cheep so it twice, considering it might crack and will have to buy another or a better one you might aswell buy a good one in the first place.

I did purchase these from ebay before i knew bout their reputation and to be honest i got lucky as both fitted fine. Actually turned out it wasnt cracked mate. it just blew a gasket from the mani to head. replaced it with a stock toyota one the next day and neva had a problem till the day i sold it and alot of that time was at 15psi. Not saying they are good but i was lucky enough as neither of the parts had fitting problems. and did the job very well and didnt crack. i reckon they were on the car for bout 4months at 15psi maybe. advise would be dont use the gaskets they provide as they are awful.

I've also got these and they both fitted fine with no problems used original toyota gaskets though as the ones you get with them just look shit! I've been running it at 0.85bar for quite a while with no probs what so ever and for £125 you can't really go wrong.
