This might help :

Remember that Portavogie is up the top to the far right on a little sticky-out bit. Gerard & I usually have to travel four or five hours to get to the Dublin meets. I honestly don't mind travelling that far - roadtrips are fun especially in a convoy.

Would love to hear a definite location so as the NI stars can plan a hotel.

There's a couple of sets of lakes around Mulllingar, but if it's a warm day, they will just be black!! There's a big hotel on a lake just before Virginia, Co. Cavan, big car park. In my opinion there ain't alot around Longford. Mullingar is fairly central and not just saying that because I'm not that far from it.

Mullingar is a nice choice location-wise (Central in the map).

All we need is a remote carpark in which we can't annoy anyone. A meeting point like Aidan suggests then moving on to a secret location choosen by the local members would be a good way of arranging it.

Mullingar's a great idea as long as we stay out of the town, lots of good hotels near by, lakes etc. I can ask round for spots.
