IF only rick ran more boost:slap:

looking at the td04 and that td05 14b the td04 works loads better making loads more power down the rev's

is it that bad then:p, cant be much worst than your old one:kiss:

less torque than the last one but more hp:p. but im not running the planned boost yet. a few suspension tweeks, change of tyres, and some mods to help bring up the torque and il up the boost to what it should be at, then we will see what the little 4e can do  im not chasing figures, but i want more torque than hp :teach:

will be hard on a large tubby on a 4e dan, what sort of torque-whp did it make?

yeah i know its ganna be a compromise but theres a few bits i can tinker with to get the torque up nearer the hp. im quite happy with it as it is but theres always room for improvement  think the torque was around 260 il have to look

with my old setup 5e+td04...boost was coming at 5500 rpm...it was very bad for me...and i was with high compression piston....not good to drive...:shoot:

a td04 on a 5e coming in at 5500? that must surely be wrong or setup very badly my friend.

a normal td04 comes in at around 1 bar at 4000rpm on 4e..

wat sort of td04 was it?

Sadly that is not the case.

hows that then? and i quote : "abit of a statment without anything to back it up"

also very interesting graph for arron's gt, seems to make reasonable torque between 4200 and 4700.... and thats it!

i wouldnt be to happy if that was my graph.... especially as its on a 5e

Its pretty simple really. If you know what your on about.

If a turbo is "designed" for a 2ltr capacity, then how the hell is it going to be any use on a 4e?
The trims and compresor sizes will be all wrong for a start.
The standard TD04 would perform better.

Now trying to quote what i told you is daft.
As yes ive just explained myself, and you now look silly.

Without knowing the trims and whats been made "hybrid" about this turbo it'd be hard to comment, 1 thing for sure though, that turbos been as an upgrade for a car that has a certain amount of room and certain flanges, I certainly wouldn't tie myself to 1 model, and no doubt you could get a better turbo made for similar money if you went for a more popular aftermarket flange like a t2/t3.

Cole, and emanage blue will be "ok" for the power you want to run, but when tuning to this level your better with something with a wider range and better resolution, EM Ultimate is slightly better but a standalone unit would blind both. Sadly most people overlook management and tuning which are the most important factors IMO.

lol sorry rory has obv studied the compressor charts and knows the exact specs and ar's of afp's hybrids.. Standard td04's are obv no good are they rory.. Thats why so many members use them ! So if a td04 is no good on a 4e what chance do me and dan and others have who have decent sized turbo's..

What makes it even funnier is that you ran/ run a td04 :).

Anyhows..
