I guess some cops are power mad where as some ain't when i was 18 i think i got 3 points for doing 57 in a 30 (young immature and stuck behind a women driver doing 20mph - angered i over took and put my foot down) the officer that pulled me told me he could have taken my licence away from me but said he'll give me a second chance and give me 3 points as his son had just passed and he'd want the same to happen with him etc, also said because i didn't have an attitude towards him he didnt feel the need to throw the book at me!

Then again i was in a mates car he got pulled for a 'routine check' they checked the washer fluid bottle it had no water in he got 3points and a fine - Apparently it makes the car non road legal (head it before a few times aswell at the mot center!)

Totally agree Jay, at first I am very polite and if the officer seems tidy enough I will apologise and say I completely understand etc but if they got an attitude and think they know what they are on about (when 75% of the time they dont) then I get my hair off :haha:

I was quite shocked when he gave me the fine as I was being polite etc mentioned I was a student bum (probably didnt like the fact I was studying Motorsport )

Oh well, I hear cops work on commision now? The more fines and shit they dish out the more bonuses they get?? :shoot:

You guys on here are terrible!! Fogs, seatbelts and tints - all against the law. You may not like it but they are. Dont have illegal tints, dont drive with your fog lights on and wear your seatbelt. Then you cant get done. Simples
Rules are there for a reason and no one on here is above the law. I have no idea why people have dark illegal tints. They dont look cool to me but seem to appeal to the chavvy saxo driver. So if you are like that then feel free to have illegal tints and reinforce peoples ideas that starlets are boyracer cars but dont moan when you get done.

You really think those rules are for your saftey my friend...yes its a good excuse for a fine but the real reason is that it makes them alot of money and thats what it is all about. :teach:

Police around my area aren't to bad had a couple of close calls but bar a parking ticket im clean so far.(touch wood)

iv got mates who are in the police and to be fair they are just doing there job if you stand out with a modded car and break the law at the same time your kind of askin for it realy. dont get me wrong had my fair share of runins with the law in my various moded cars but you just learn to stay within the law or atract less attention simples

got pulled recently for a been a bit heavy with the right foot. was apologetic and not cocky and fortunately got away with a warning.

but, when i was pulled over by vosa that was another story. first i was warned my car was too low and possibly dangerous, but he didn't act on that.

was gutted when i had to remove my front tints, but, rules are rules.

what miffed me the most was his attitude towards the exhaust on my car. he basically said 'if it's louder than a standard system then it isn't legal'

i had to resort to fitting the biggest silencers i could find. he only just passed it when i took it to be tested.

that was when the car was NA, am dreading being pulled now it's turbo!

C'mon guys, hes said several times that he knows he was wrong and he termed the thread "bit of a bad month tbh..." hes not really moaning about the cops 2bf, hes moaning about his bad luck. and where was he calling everyone a goody goody 2shoes?

If you had been caught 3 times in a month im sure you would stick up a thread like this lamenting how unlucky you were, jus like Ollie has done here.

im not trying to make that out either so we agree on something, for example everyone on here speeds, i think(correct me if you can be bothered lol) but you gotta take a ticket/points on the chin.

and if you get done for something "stupid" just be thankful they didnt catch you the numerous times that you have been in a license loosing situation ??? speaking to myself here aswell.
