elaine went up t him and said "hi i'm elaine" the guy just said "yeah whatever" and turned his head away to ignore her. in my eyes that was mighty rude.
how dare he say that to elaine, she seemed a very warm and friendly person. i think next time one person should print the names down of all the people that was ment to go, or register interest in going and mark them down on the paper like a reqister, just to keep track of who is there. because the people of the world are becoming more and more unsocialable. i mean, it takes nothing to say hello. i didnt know anyone there, but i jus put myself out there.
maybe we should write a guide for "noob at car meet". sound funny but, it would just be a couple of bullet points just saying what is expected of you. which is just to get involve. remember is a car meet so introduce yourself, example AX + BY = Car X meet Car Y, Owner A meet Owner B. (SIMPLE!!!)
you go to a car meet because you want to meet up and chat, you may have seen a guy/girls car on the net and thought that clever. but he/she trys and explains the car or ones self its not as clear as it would be if you were actually face to face. its like an opportunite to meet people that share the same interest as you do, (its what people did before "My Face = Facebook" and other social websites). GET OUT AND LIVE!!!!
i didnt know people there, but took the opportunity to meet and greet. meet reko = funny dood with the funny hair that had to fix something on his car before he left, shelly = who has a cute and fuzzy personality which she share with the makeup of her car (dashboard mania), starlet3sgte + the guy in the car next to his = standup guy, very help and kool, respect the fact his car is legend and doesnt boast. gt_elaine = who was kind and kool and very approciable. and it i havent mentioned you its because i cant pin the tab names with the faces.
oh and remember that thread about the face behind the name tag that also help to me to distinguse who people were, so that was a good idea.
