That's a nice Evo 3 I been told they ain't very reliable and they are money pits is that true
I was going to last October when insurance was up tbf, got a drive of 1 a couple of months before and wasnt impressed 1 bit, just more responsive in higher gears is all i noticed and the handling was nice. But if your bored of a 200bhp starlet i wouldnt go to a DC2.
Maybe a supercharged bread van.
Hondas feel empty. Great cars no doubt I'd own one no hassle but even the fast ones feel empty and gutless imo.
350 is a car man i would love 1 tbf, i couldnt see myself driving a honda after a starlet as all my mates have them lol most of them are all b18c6 now aswell.
I agree, i drove a type R recently and a clio 172 and i cant believe just how gutless they felt, even though they were quite quick they just felt half the power of my 350. n/a is always associated with hondas, there are alot more out there but probably cost more..
Very true I'd say your 350 would pull it self round towns in 5th gear at 30mph no hassle.
I've drove my brothers Honda s2000 and I was not that impressed and it's not that quick, but on the other hand they are sooo tuneable it's unreal, and turbo/supercharger kits are pretty cheap
I've also been in my sisters boyfriends civic type r(bread van ) and was so disappointed, the only car I could compare it to was my mums old mk3 astra sport.I think the problem was that I heard all the hype about v-tec this v-tec that, and was expecting a big kick at 6000rpm+ how wrong was i
I recently moved from a 170ish bhp 1998 glanza to a 2004 integra DC5.
I would say now, that I probably wouldn't ever move back to a starlet full time i'm afraid.
The interior is a whole other world and the whole car just feels a lot nicer- handling is amazing.
Being a 2ltr car it's actually uses less fuel than my glanza, which was a very welcome surprise.
Still love the starlets and may get one as a second car for weekends at some point though.
One thing I will say is that it doesn't "feel" as fast as a glanza although it definately is faster! Doesn't have much of a throwback but you can see the dial moving up very fast, it's strange:haha:
I can see why people don't like hondas but it's such fun driving them
