It boosts to 1.2 bar straight away mate. I haven't kept it floored to see how high it goes coz I don't wanna fuck my engine but I think 1.2 as about as far as it goes.

but its deffo advisable to have more fuel to start with as if any electrics fail it wont suddenly run massivly lean, trimming fuel is better than addind fuel 'in my oppinion'

this is sound advice.....i firmly believe in this principle....almost guaranteed to let your engine survive if the electrical fuelling mechanism fails

a safc alone cant fuel properly for anything past fuel cut, this is why the rrfpr is needed.

any how, you should be able to get it tuned just fine with rrfpr and safc, and should only cost you an hours rolling road time

This could work with the jam ecu then? I mean if overfuels anyway (they all do) so you would be safe there and it has a more agressive map and more advance timing or is able to advance the timing (something like that lol) if I am correct.

The SAFC could be used to trim the fueling down on it like using as rrfpr and fcd exept the jam ecu elmminates the fuel cut anyway :)

yep exactly, it has been known for people to do this.

but to be honest, spending £400 on a jam ecu, then buying a safc to trim it down, is an expensive way of doing things. if you were going to do all that, you may aswell just get some sort of emanage

I have a clamp type (JAM FCC) to use with my SAFC, that alright yeah ?

IF you are running on the rich side after fuel cut point then yes othewise no.

luke.r - Yes thats a good idea with there being no fuel cut on aftermarket ecu you MAY be able to ADD fuel using an safc aswell as trimming fuel but im not confident in that as im unsure of how the aftermarket ecu operates...

I already have a jam ecu anyway, was just looking at improving things to be honest.

I would be happy with 200bhp at the fly and all I need is a mani and hybrid to get near or at that, so instead of paying out for emanage etc I could just put a SAFC on it to fine tune things a little.

everyone trys different ways to see how things work. :)
