This is the best time to buy an MX5 mate when the weather is crap, as mentioned they get more expensive in the summer like all drop tops :)

not too big and powerful as such. i want a cheapish runabout thats rwd.

a bastard great barge 2l turbo thing isnt going to be cheap to run or insure. it will be a bitch to park compared to a smaller car.

i had more or less made up my mind, yes, but i was seeing if anyone had any other ideas!

dunc where you been looking for mx5s??ideally id get a 1991-1993 1.6 in a metallic coulor and an import NOT a uk as they are abused compared to jdm ones,at work theres a few of them and the uk ones ffs theyre shitters, however the jdm ones are fully loaded and underneath are solid!!

sorry yeah i meant not AS abused as uk cars....uk cars arnt thought about as much as jdm ones, you import a 1994 80k mile avarege daily driven eunos and find a same spec Uk one,the jdm one will most deffinatly be in better condition, japs care for their cars way more than most of us brits and their roads etc arnt as harsh and neither is their weather

its mainly just the salt. the uk is one of the few countries (maybe the only) that use salt on the road. half the time we dont even need it.

i am specifically looking for an import one, just cant find that many about
