woohoo :p

i think England would do alot better if everyone stoped putting so much pressure on them. Evey world cup England have it in the bag before it even starts.

Too true, How much pressure was on Rooney to score the goals??
Great season with united and will be another one in a few months too.

Yeah way too much pressure and he will prob get slatted from the press when he gets home. The press should of just left the team alone and let them get on with it.

I disagree with the pressure comments, there suppose to be world class players, pressures suppose to be there game, if they cant handle it they shouldnt be on the team

England got slaughtered, end off. Even that one goal which didn't go on score wouldn't make any difference!

Germans were on form, England wasn't - fail

Well put Mark.

Germans deserved that and have played a whole lot better through the cup so far. They are enjoyable to watch too not like watching a bunch of comedians having a kick about in the local park.

Passion = 0

I think it shows how overpaid the majority of Premiership footballers are paid. It has been blown up to be one of the top quality leagues in the world why players demand so much to play in it, but many others in the World Cup that play in other leagues have run rings around them.

With the Premiership "top teams" claiming massive depts lately, I wonder will the credit crunch be affecting another group of "workers" in the coming few months lol.

When Lampards goal didnt count all I could think of was "Oh for fucks sake, how many times will this match be compared to 1966 if they get a result here". I was going to throw myself off the roof, but Germany spared me the climb!!

Germany deserved it as others said! Hats off to them! Young team, they wanted it and had the passion and were privelidged to play for their country! England did not. Overhyped and overpaid. I will support them in the future however i cant see Capello staying, Shame really, we have an amazing team....on paper!

If Germany continue to play like that, they deserve to win it! That was schoolboy football for england

Im Irish and even I believed England would go close to winning the World cup this year going by their performances in the qualifying campaign. Once again though, when it comes to the crunch, the english players wilt under the pressure. They have been absolutely TERRIBLE in all 4 of the games they played, I agree that Lampard's attempt should have been a goal but can ANYONE seriously argue that ,even if it was allowed, the Germans wouldn't have won anyway? Of course not. I feel bad for England that the goal wasn't allowed but I'm delighted that it happened to a "Big" team at the world cup because maybe now video evidence will be introduced into Football.

Thanks for putting our useless, over-paid, under-performing, ungrateful bunch of useless tossers out of World Cup 2010. I can now enjoy the rest of the World Cup without having to endure any more inept performances from our supposed bunch of professionals.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a very patriotic football lover, but full credit to Germany, they were up for it, they played well, we did not. Even Capello looked utterly bemused as to how shit we are and have been. I don't blame Capello, I blame our players. The other players in other teams play like they are privileged to be there. Our players play as if they expect to be there, no passion, no pride.

And, so we had a clear goal not given. And? would that have made a difference? Nah...

Couldn't have put it better mate, absolute pathetic show.
