Did you ever crash your Glanza? How was it safety wise? Any pics?

Enzo who heads up UKSC had a bad one in a black Glanza a while back. I remember seeing them and being shocked and how poorly it kept it's shape. Maybe someone can dig them up?

well, mashing up easy is a good thing coz that means the car absorbs the shock and impact that would otherwise be getting to the occupants. only haste is, the shell is such a short form-factor car that there is little cushioning :(

best bet is to stay safe on the roads. keep speeds minimum unless the road and the car allow it.. :)

dave that the one enzo flipped over,my glanza is a N reg 1996 and i have 96 glanza with pass airbag two were they not a extra

Ok! I've seen about 10 Glanza's before 98 model - with just 1 air bag, so I assumed the early models didn't get one. What kind of interior have you got? is the steering wheel black?

Interesting thread this, had a close call on Tuesday night with ice, doing about 40mph on a gentle bend and all four wheels just went. If there was anything in the other lane I was f**cked like! It makes you think twice about putting the boot down. Feel a bit safer in my Glanza now though compared to the GT's, making lemons outta lemonade haha!

Aquaplaned on the M1. Spun around backwards and went across all 5 lanes, rear end into the barrier around 45 degrees. That bounced me back across all 5 lanes into the concrete central reservation. I didn't have airbags as previous owner removed it. Very lucky really

What speed were you doing? About 70mph?
