This a HYBRID TD04L, so should not be compared to a standard TD04L on a WRX. Plus it is running 1.6bar, which no one runs on a standard TD04L.

I'm sure it's a monster on the road, so who cares about the figures.

I hope we are talking about figures recorded at the wheels.


Without cams mine made 270hp at the wheels and 324ft/lb torque. looking at the power curve with the cams in now Id say Id have a lot more torque than that now.

On your graph even with NOS you are no where near 300lb/ft of torque and that is a 5e.

True, but if you quote figures shouldn't take four days to produce a graph.

or maybe some people just dont have the time / reason to produce one just so doubters and moaners can see and feel better about it lol. theres no reason to lie about your power readings its not a competition and tbh if your quoting more than you have then your a bit of a twat neway

also, no one has any reason to doubt these figures, as Dave Burwash supplied hisparts and was mapped at Engine Advantages which is known to quite a few users here, someone would have known otherwise if he was lying

thanks adam glanza and white ep82 :) not fussed if anyone doesnt believe it. i know thats what it made, i will post the graph when i get a min to myself (least of my priorities at the moment!)

na looks spot on mate, got to be that head me thinks, any word on getting clutch on?

how come the graph drops badly after 5k, shows you can get lot more power out of turbo tho :rockon:, and it lost 60 bhp going through gearbox 235 whp:confused:

couldnt say why it drops off at 5k. :confused: it def doesnt drop off on the road though :p yeah turbo only come alive after 1.4bar. head plays a part in torque but its mostly down to spec of turbo, as i was after torque more than horses.

Is the red line at the bottom the wheel horse power? 232 WHP?

Where is the wheel torque?

I assume this was done on a chassis dyno?
