cant you take it back to where you had the headgaskit done? also while the rocker cover is off check the valve clerances.

I'd inspect the cam caps and their bearings, but unsure from the video. Noises can be very deceptive and appear to come from the wrong places.

Best bet is to use a screwdriver, put the handle against your ear and the metal end against part of the engine. It's a great trick to hear inside the engine and isolate a noise.

Cheers Guys, Is there any way that because the rocker cover gasket was leaking, the oil pressure was lowered, therefor not reaching the cams properly thus making a noise?

I dnt know how to check the cam caps? I'm a newb with these things? :(

It wouldn't have been leaking enough to cause any damage so long as oil levels were OK.

The cam caps are the 4 caps that hold the cam down to the head. In line with the spark plug holes in your picture.

Before that I'd try turning the engine on and using the screw driver trick, it really works you'll be suprised.

Cheers matey, the main noise is only really present at certain rev's afaik, oil's never been below 3/4's afaik! but seems asthough waters got in as per the pics, i just need this car sorted :(

Rep for help, i'll try the screw driver trick - if it was big ends am i correct in thinking the noise would be present the whole time and increase with revs rather than only appearing at certain revs?

Big end knocking happens mostly under load and deceleration. I don't think that's water in the oil to be honest, it's probably just condensation.

Leaking rocker cover gasket would not affect oil pressure at all.

If the liquid in those pics is clear with creamy coloured flakes then its probably water, the flakes are emulsified water and oil mixed together.

Thast last vid, damn that sounds terrible!
Could it be something like a tensioner from the cam belt that is giving problems?
