Engine Torque Damper

Are there any available for the EP91 that don't require modifying? I'm gonna want one in the not too distant future but I don't want to have to chop bits of it off or have to move my engine bay around to fit it.

Cheers guys.
Hutch.

Silk Road.

I've heard their s/s manis are poop but whats the rest of their stuff like? I'm after an engine torque damper and the only one I can seem to find is by silk road, the others need modifying to fit the Glanza. Anyone had one of these or any other products (except manis) from them?

back in the day when i fitted mine & had crap dead stock mountings it made a difference.. for 2 days...

after 2 days the bolts snapped as their made of chocolate.. damper is very gud quality but the bolts are not..

btw this was after a qtm session..

id reccomend u just get trd mountings.. torque dampers are a TOTAL waste of money..

We have a Silk Road/Section engine damper on our car with TRD mounts, made a big improvement, been on for 9 months without issue

Thats coz u have the trd mounts dave, which make the engine tenfold more stable.. trust me on furbed mountings it wont last long...

Both seem to do a different jobs from what I have read, so run both like me and dave do.

Seems to be a misconception in what the dampers do compared to engine mounts.

Not that I'll be doing it sx_turbo, just wondered how its done. If its engine out it'll be pricey as fook getting it done at a garage.
