A bit of a pointless comment unless you've taken your car there.
They had a 450bhp focus there recently owned by a guy who drove all the way from Finland. What does that tell you about the quality of there work and reputation?

I think i will be using them this time around heard real good things about them.

Just waiting for a price from Paul @ Engine Advantages. To be fair Engine Tuner is closer and has the same type of reputation of getting good results with a safe and reliable map.

Been debating going to Allan Jeffery for a very long time this might actually be the time that i do go down.

GTwayne: The guy wiv the focus with 450bhp was ment to be mapping this ST because he runs his own business in sweden, and he was helping alan jeffery to map this ST. Im only going from what ive heard and other instances with friends cars and it was enough to put me off.

AP motors in plymouth would be my choice, perhaps a little less known but the quality of work is still top notch.

Ive been told some stupid thing like they advanced ignition by 30 degrees and destroyed a legacy, and my mate had his mini 1380 turbo mpped there and it cracked piston due to lean and det 1000 miles up the road...

I thought he was taking that ST back with him.

The enginetuner/AP rivalry is exactly that and throws up a lot of hear say. I have experience of both so I talk from first hand.

It does seem to be a bit like that doesn't it. Theres always been the rivalry between the two but at the end of the day they are doing the same thing.

Is that so , I think you should get your facts straight before pointing the finger , and remember that WE read forums too...

We were asked to carry out an engine swap on the Focus nothing more , and everything went back on exactly as it came off after having the conversion carried out by Puma Build...
The customer flashed his own ecu using the RICA software and managed to lock himself out of it , nothing to do with us as we don't deal with RICA re-programming...
The Focus is being taken to Finland to have a full engine built , and mapped by a Volvo engine specialist , better for us as we specialise in Japanese cars not Swedish..

We have been operating in Plymouth for over 20 years and have seen 4 competitors come and go in that time and we still remain , what does that tell you..

P.S . We have never sent a car to AP's for mapping , yet I have mapped at least 4 Skylines for them , a Pulsar , 2 Imprezas and 1 Toyota Celica GT4..
