well its the pressure plate that provided the clamping force

and clutch judder is usually related to the construction of the clutch itself (solid vs spring centre).....complete disc vs puck....then u gotta look at the strenght of the springs, clutch material, clutch design, etc.............

a flywheel is more of a concern when its warped or needs refacing or not balanced properly

anyone had problems with the clutch being too big...read on...

heres the thing..
even though i searched about exedy clutches on here and the problems with ebay i stupidly went ahead and bought one anyway... quote''PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL OUR PARTS AND ACCESSORIES ARE MADE TO MEET OR EXCEED ORIGINAL QUALITY AND BRAND NEW COMPLETE WITH A 12 MONTHS NO QUIBBLE GUARANTEE.''

so when it came one part, with the springs, was in a pink box and the plate was in a grey box. they both have exedy and made in japan printed on them.

seemed pretty genuine, but came to fitting today and the clutch was too big?? how would this be possible, i was told the engine was completely standard when i bought it 4 months ago

my mechanic is now ordering a pattern part made by adl?? never heard of them however the clutch needs to be replaced asap as its sitting at his work.. also how long did it take for delivery when anyone bought one off dave??

please help really confused and pissed off that i cant drive my car!!

cheerss
