hmmm I just tried a 12mm nut and its way to big...

Put an 8mm on and it fits is this ok??? The 8mm is slightly bigger than the whole on the brace itself so might need to drill the brace out ot fit

took me 10 mins to fit my 3 point brace and IMO makes a bit of difference skippy back end lol im always on the phone to elaine so ring me if you get stuck.

the nut is supposed to be bigger than the hole in the brace, might need to put a washer under the nut

Its an M8x1.25 thread. Preferably you want flange nuts with a 12mm hex, but if not use generic 13mm hex nuts with flat washers.

My GAB brace required a bit of persuasion. The bolt holes were a tight fit over the mounting studs. Nothing a good clout with a 5lb persuasion stick couldn't cure tho.

lol Texx I think if it comes to me having to hit it I will just leave well alone and wait for Lewis to sort it...

I have got the nuts sorted and the spaner so fingers crossed I will have it fited by 5.30..... I am not holding my hopes up though lol

Ricky we already know that I am speciall!!! I thought being able to check my own oil was an achievement but thats easy I just have to look at my Rocker cover!!!

oh dear lord, i only told her about trimming the strut tower plastic trims as my age old cusco brace has round ends and wouldnt fit in, i assumed hers was the same.

I'll fit it on saturday elaine
