Don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to upset anyone with that last comment, I'd even like the occasional lick of flame myself, but to post a thread purely about how big a flame you can get from your car just seems childish.

What sort of management are you running on this mythical motor?

The mods you described would bump the compression ratio unfeasibly high without some sort of good piggyback/standalone ECU to run it. If you're popping flames (with a 2 1/4 inch exhaust even!) that are big enough to see in your mirrors then you're running dangerously rich. Or your timing is MILES off.

I'm going to call BS on the mod list until I see a picture! No excuses about 'i don't have a camera' either, if you can afford an engine rebuild then you can afford a cheap camera phone.
