I'm not actually after more power its more for looks . I've other cars for thatmore room for more hp with it removed bud, i was going to re-install it but the radiator was huge and probably not suit the tf035 kit. I suppose depending on size of the fmic you go for you could keep it ?
throw some pics up sure
i was going to recommend dropping wepr/sacha a line....as from your display picture you have an ep71?? and may need something a bit custom for that car if that is indeed the car in question
i run a Trust Greddy fmic kit for the EP91 glanza which retains ac and stock bumper, but again its expensive and not made for the ep71 model
Unfortunately not John, I remember the days they were £150 brand new but sadly they are discontinued.
Toyota's marketing plan is up the left. By the time we need body panels they have been removed from the market. Sill panels are a good example.
There is a fortune to be made if they would think about things a little!
I know a place in the US is making Gen 5 Celica panels including the widebody CS/RC cars, must have a wee trawl on the forum later see can I get the name.Completely agree with you, if you were in the business it might be a good money maker for different Jap cars, especially AE86s and the likes.
The early WEPR cores were always a good size for fitting in, especially compared to the thicker Blitz (and it's cheap copies from Autobahn88 and the like). Not sure if Sacha has changed the dimensions any over the years but he can advise directly.
Fitted a HKS core on my own last year and it's about the smallest I've dealt with. Real easy to handle although looks wise it's a bit lost with my TOMS bumper. I modified WEPR piping to fit it as the JDM pipes weren't pretty enough. I'll find some pics if I can.
That's good to know Sacha, I can remember a few people regarded the old core as too slender but I always found it really suited a fast spooling set up.
Just for reference, what's the new cores dimensions?
