Ah the world of servers what kind of bandwith do we all use on here Dylan a month? We see around 6GB I think on our site.

I've also noticed you've been doing a lot of backend (excuse the pun) work with the site recently adding a lot of new features and constantly striving to improve TGTT, must say I'm impressed buddy it's certainly come a long way since the early days nice work! :)

we are doing about 3gig a day Toby... its fairly huge when you think about it. Some days it hits 4. One month we were over 120GB of transfer.

More nice features on the way - the site purchased a nice content management system last night that will be powering our landing page soon - fingers crossed. And the new server is in build with huge storage and a 100MBit feed straight to the internet... no messing about.

Bloody hell that's quite a lot! New server and management system sounds good though I find it pretty reliable at the moment to be honest. Anyhow look forward to seeing more updates.

it keep maxing out the number of concurrent connections allowed to the database - people will know this as the dreaded "database error". Once we are on the new server we will have the database and forum on the same server allowing us as many connections to it as we like. Will take a severe beating to max this bad boy out.

The front page is something we have been sadly missing since the migration to Vbulletin.. the old forum landing page was cool :) and this new one should allow us to put news, RSS feeds latest threads, login, calendar etc etc etc on a main landing page.

im having all sorts of problem.

a) when i hit quick reply. its always quotes the last post!!

b) i cant search, it always comes up, wait 30 seconds, and counts down as if it will then let you search!! but it goes striaght back to 30 seconds!

every so often it allows me to search.

Can you clear out your cache and log back in give it another try. Ive tested with my test user account and all seems to be well.

Hey Phil tried that there and a good few searches and they are all working mate...

Anyone else having issues?

The site is about as stable as a 3 legged dog for me. May have something to do with my amazing Virgin Media connection though. I've had to reboot the cable modem about 15 times this evening due to loss of service.

When the connection is working I get little trouble browsing other sites but quite often 'no response from server' when trying to connect to TGTT.
