ok so you fill the gearbox and the lsd seperately, but with the same oils.

is that the same for aftermarket?

I've just put castrol 80w90 differential oil in my stock lsd box - will this cause any problems? Cheers

Seperately??? Is there a different set of holes for the lsd on the stock lsd box?

You just fill the box through the nut on the top...17 it is...

Redline, I wouldn't imagine using anything else.


I used MT90 in my road car and Heavy ShockProof in my race car with LSD.

I have to say the Shockproof gives you total confidence, it's a little too thick when cold for every day driving, but there is no doubt there will never be any metal on metal contact!
