I was going to reply explaining how a legnum comes with AYC like the evo's etc etc but i think it's just going to be a waste of time.........

Most definitely! Caldina's are 1% better at putting power down and 1% superior at handling!

The caldina gtt has an air to air intercooler and a slightly higher compression ratio of 9 compared to the gt fours 8 it puts out more power than the st205 and comes with 260 hp :)

Is the Caldina engine identical to a ST185 or ST205? I thought the Caldina's had air-to-air intercoolers, and weren't charge-cooled? In that case its probabaly a ST185 3S-GTE which has less BHP than a 205 does it not?

Caldina runs a TMIC that's not charge-cooled, and has a later generation of the 3S-GTE engine with the highest factory output of the 3S-GTE engine at 260ps ATF.

so let me get this right... it has 160kw which equates to 217bhp

they weigh almost as much of a tank... well around 1440kg to be exact..

so its got a power to weight ratio of 153bhp which is about 5bhp/tonne more than a standard glanza...

what is all the fuss about?? deano your cars slow... deal with it :p

Then your trying to tell me yours is faster than a B4 Legacy. In all fareness dude a B4 would murder your car on the road. I'm not trying to slate your car I like Caldinas and you got a great result but you need to stop talking shit dude.

That driver of that caldina sucks and can't drive for shit and who knows what mods that forester had done to it my caldina has beaten legacys and legnums before without even trying they always ask if it's manual and they seem to get very pissed off when I say it's a tiptronic lol

And a caldina gtt would easily beat a glanza especially with that big turbo at the top end I have beaten stock and lightly modified evo 4's I suggest some people take a dina for a test drive

That was at the wheels at the engine it's making 257 hp and most standard evo 7's and 8's are putting out 220 hp atw according to owners on some websites

Your glanza was virtually stock and it was beating everything on the road now you have a caldina it is beating everything in sight... *yawn* if this was boyraceridiot.com we would all be saying "well done deano" but it isnt so expect negative comments when you spew shit.

The manifold cost me over $900 and the decat cost me $550 the top mount intercooler cost me $200 the exhaust system cost me $900 the boost controller cost me $200 add it all up with the labour costs and it comes to about $4000 nzd

Yeah I know how to drive a car with a clutch but aucklands traffic is too busy so an auto is alot easier to live with and the tiptronic gtt's seem to be quicker than the manuals from what I have found my caldina is on 12 psi stock going to turn it up to 16 or 17 psi and get it tuned with an emanage ultimate and an hdi ebc thats after I get the exhaust and the cold air induction done first :)

Well the boost was turned up to 12 psi and the decat and exhaust made it pull me back in the seat

mine is on 15 psi and doesnt throw anyone back in the seat... 12 psi on a stock engine throwing you back in the seat LOL and that is why we dont believe anything you say.

The truth is Deano if you had a legnum or a B4 or anything for that matter suddenly that would be the fastest car in the world.
