I have hit fuel cut a couple of time's in mine, an the car feel's like all power is gone then it come's strait back again...

Have been told its not a good thing to hit it to much...

Mine is quiet smooth at top speed no real shake's at all...

fuel cut and speed cut are 2 diff things, fuel cut is to do with engine

soeed cut is to do with how fast your going (as it is in the name lol)

speed cut on most jap cars feels like front susp has just colapsed and car looses speed

it was on the r32 anyway never hit it in starlet so wouldnt know (not top speed limited)

well i think that was what happened then... the gear didnt bounce out of place :p... it just hit the speed limiter and felt like if the engine turned off... and i clutched to neutral right away by reaction...

I think even 112 in a starlet is being silly. Thats certain death if you make a mistake or someone else does.

no point in having huge power in a starlet then as they dont really come to life till they hit around 80MPH..... With big power they become motorway cars more then anything.... And when i say big power i mean 280BHP+

Geared for 168?! What ar GT's geared to coz it aint 168!

Its definietly near that as GT on stock rev limit does 130MPH in 4th gear clock indicated, GPS would be about 120MPH...... 5th would be say around 150MPH GPS/ clock speed say 160-163MPH.....

You could increase rev limit then it would do a higher top end....

lol,

personly i think with a very good set up,

td05 or something, the 4efte could make it there, if ya messed around with the aerodinamics a bit,

if i win the lottery, thats my aim, 200mph 4efte ct9. lol

try it lol

scary stuff, although not to bad now i have coilovers

i went up to 120mph inmine (its an Aygo but) and still feels very stable and no shaking :p

and the clock on the Aygo is quite accurate as on the dynometer @100mph it was reading 102mph on the clock (it takes the reading from the shaft not the gearbox)

TD05/200MPH,

Not a chance mate......

It would need around 450BHP with bigger turbo and better aerodynamics like you said....

Something along the lines of a GT30 turbo size running max boost......

Even then, 1.3, just wont happen..... maybe 180-185MPH MAX...

HRF's was pretty close to 190 mph. but that was on a 5e i think...if i had a long ratio box, id take mine up there on the 4e/td05 to see what it could do..

And it was made out of fpr. Aerodynamics won't allow it to go any faster. It starts to take huge amount of hp to go even 1mph faster.
Realisticly topspeed of a stock gt or glanza it about 130-140mph breaking 155mph is a big task. The secret reason for the germans restricting cars to 155 i recon. Not to mention a ep may take off at any given moment at high speeds.

I doubt there will ever be a 200mph Starlet. Would need so much power, uber light, good traction, aerodynamics etc. And how unsafe would it be?! lol Steering would be silly light. I'd love to see it, but don't think I will.
