184MPH i think the exact speed was... And at that speed that is way off 190MPH

PS, and taht had as you say a 5E with a HKS GT2876(along the lines) and run around 430BHP...

So 200MPH on a 4E, not a chance like i said lol

ive been in a starlet at 155mph on speedo so probably what 145mph??

that was a forged td04 starlet running 1.5 bar... feels fun in a turbo'd tin can :) made me wish i never sold mine

bring it to hal far and leave the handbrake off and by the time it rolls to the end of the quarter it will be just shy of 200mph...

Who in their right mind would even contemplate doing 150+ in a Starlet you lot are one crazy group :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:.

I had an MR2 turbo REV 3 and that could crack 155mph ....... but did I ever do it no as

1. I didn't want too lose my License
2. I didn't want too lose my License
3. Oh and I didnt want to die if anything went horribly wrong :p:p:p:p:p:p

I must have one of these short ratio boxes aswell as there is no way in hell my Glanza will hit 130 on the clocks in 4th. Infact It seems to be very similar ratio's to my old 106GTi. Just over 60 in 2nd. about 90ish in 3rd then I can only assume about 120 in 4th and whatever is left in 5th.

here is a vid of mine from 1st to 5th at halfar i can see 110mph just over the quarter mile line but then kept going after that my car seem to stop at 120mph even tough you hear the engine revs go up. 2nd see me up to 70mph and 3rd 98mph top goes to 120mph and my speedo is accurate as it was checked with the dynometer one and at 100mph it was 2mph off.

most i've taken mine up to is around 240... with the glanza gearbox and 16" wheels and 195/45 tires on.

with the same tires on a dyno, it says 265 kmh at 7600 rpm.

was you on the autobahn? in what length of road would you be able to see that? 3 miles ?

any decent highway...and as a matter of fact, the one i did it, wasnt decent at all...bumpy surface and i was scared shitless. generally i dont do top speed runs, when i travel i go barely above the speed limit, i was just in the mood and i knew there were no cops on that particular stretch...
