Hitting fuel cut after fitting air filter relocation?

No mate, the best thing too do is give it a mixture of driving, but it should have settled on its choice around that, possibly before, it might pick a real aggressive setting for a bit then will come back down abit, thanks for the rep btw.

now that we are talking about this, does the map change (even if over time) when you change your driving style..? for instance, in a situation where the car is given to a different driver to use over a period of time..?

As far as im aware it doesn't,i dont think mine has changed from when i set it up to now were im driving it as a daily and as easily as possible. but i could be wrong here, i think it needs too be unplugged for a while before it resets. not 100% sure on the time tho.

Just drove my car home and iv noticed that it is boosting 1.1 not 1.0, a 0.2 gain from relocating the air filter is not bad lol.
I also noticed that its about when it reaches 1.1 in 4th or 5th that it hits fuel cut..?
Gona leave the car to cool till later on and then go and reset the ecu to c wat that does.

I know it sounds silly but have you tried putting the air filter back to how you had it before (before you put the relocation kit in).

Just some basic trouble shooting. If it still does it when you put the filter back to how it was before then something is up. You might find that putting that relocation on has caused something to be upset and needs looking at.

That would be what i would do. Just to double check and make sure its nothing serious.

Edit:
Also another thing to quickly add. Does it hit fuel cut when your just chugging along at 30 in 4th and then boot it or does it do it when bbooting it through all the gears,

Ok so i just reset my ecu..
i disconnected the battery for 15 mins, connected it and let it idle cold for 15 mins, switched it off, started it and drove for around 8 miles thn started putting my foot down more, nailed it and it still hits fuel cut when it reaches full boost in 4th or fifth?

Any more ideas?

it only does is when u rele put ur foot down in 4th and fifth just around when it hits full boost, 1st, 2nd n 3rd are perfect. If you hold your foot in it it does it agen 2 secs later...

cant understand why would it hit fuel cut 4th and fifth and not 2nd and 3rd if the same boost is being made. maybe someone can shed some light on this.

overboost maybe..? it can be assumed that at 4th and top gear, you have a lot more exhaust flow (thus quicker turbo spool) and airflow into the filter and greater cooling effect on your f/tmic. which = more oxygen molecules to burn. engine starts to lean out. bang! fuel cut. it's just a theory. lots of other variables need to be confirmed before this can stick..
a good starting point would be to check that your wastegate and actuator are in order..

This is along the lines of what i was thinking. Thats why i thot resetting my ecu to see if it would give more fuel would work...but it hasnt. Either that or i haven't reset my ecu correctly. I seem to be hearing a couple different ways/times for resetting, can anyone confirm the exact procedure?

UPDATE GUYS.

Just put my air filter back to how it was before... boost is back to only 0.9 and guess wat..no fuel cut.
It just doesnt seem to like hitting 1.1 bar in 4th n fifth with air filter relocation, which is wierd cos the guy tht had the ecu and engine before me was running 1.3 bar...?

that seems strange cause its my old ecu and i did run 1.3 on a hybrid so i would of been taken even more than u
map sensor maybe ??
