splice in the red and black wires and cut the green and join as it shows.

Does anyone know what green wire i cut. Has it got another colour with it?

Look at the location on the plug rather than the colour, the diagram shows exactly where to splice in. Each box represents the pin's of the ecu, simply hold the plug so its facing the same way as in the diagram then count along the wires to find the one's you need.
