hks fcon help needed urgently

i don't think they can, they don't have any software, it only went up for an engine management light on, needed a knock sensor replacing!! and crank seals needed doing!

there is only 2 hks mappers in ireland,TTM in galway,and ECC in lisburn.id go to TTM if i wer u.

trackday performance does it too in wicklow! never heard of the others. ttm good? cos at some stage i wanna get it mapped from 1.2 to 1.4 or 1.5 bar, shud have it round 330-340bhp with any luck

they map alot of rally cars,i hear they are.
thats right trackday do it to.

its likely in perfect working order, not a button wrong with it, but needs fitted securely and fitted level. hardly worth throwing other map sensors at the problem if its nothing major?!

Mi16chris did mine, i know Jay has setup a f-con before and mapped it.

@wes- earlier it you were askin would it need remapped once you had sorted the error code problem.

just from what happened to mine, when chris changed the position of the map sensor it totally upset the map, it wouldnt even idle properly, i was so bad that if the same thing happens to yours, your tuner would have trouble not noticing it!

oh it wudnt even start!! turns out the error msg was 4 short and one long! anyone know what that is?? (hks fcon)

4 short and 1 long would be..14=rpm signal=distributor/amplifier

4 long and 1 short would be...41=tps=throttle position sensor

has it started yet??

fcon was plugged into and found to be blank!!! have to try get a copy of the map now

I was going to say are you sure there is map on there! As Dave pointed out HKS power writers should be your first and last call think SES are not 100% sure..

u would have been spot on toby.not many hks agents here. will have to track one down. engine advantages would hardly have kept a copy of the map?
