i knew sum1 who unfortunately died at the scene of his accident. a 1.1 saxo (not the safest car by far) hit a tree head on at 60mph. and i kid u not, the back wheels were further forward than the front ones. get ur head round that. the car was literally hugging the tree. and when i say he was pronounced dead at the scene, they had to carry him away in quite a few pieces. these things do happen unfortunately.

so be careful out there ladies and gents please.

That does'nt mean they where on anything though does it?

I think adrenalin was probably the main culprit.

Think about it, you're let loose in your dad's brand spanking new 170ps Golf GTD with more torque than you can believe and a carload of mates to impress..

The ESP is pretty fucking hard to fool in these cars so it was either (a) turned off, (b) driven beyond it's limits and the drivers ability, (c) a mechanical/electronic failure or something important or (d) there was an external influence involved, possibly another vehicle or intoxication.

No matter which it serves a grim reminder of what can happen.

Be safe.

5 twats.

i feel sorry for there family's, as it's never nice to lose anybody but........................

if there gonna drive like retarded fucks, and be high on drink and drugs or whatever, then they clearly had it coming.

what if they hit some innocent person.......

i'm personally no angel when it comes to sticking to speed limits, but there times and places and knowing what your limits are.

What makes you think it was 5 twats? Only 1 person was piloting that car, and I am a fim believer that who ever is in control of the car is responsible for making sure their passengers arrive at their destination safe.

To me it sounds like the dude driving was showing off to his mates and in the process killed himself and them. In my eyes that is four innocent lives lost.

Agree'd as the officer said when i was pulled and given points a few years ago it's your licence, not your mates, weather they want you to do something or not its your call not there's and it's the same with making sure they get there safely i guess. Always the drivers responsibility

Young drivers. I don't feel sorry for them. That behaviour (new car, no seatbelts, that speed) is just plain dumb. I DO feel sorry for the parents, family and the people who have to clean up the mess they caused.

This is a good example of people that should NOT be behind the wheel of a car.

Im with Ricky on this one, feel sorry for there familys but certainly not them.

The passengers could easily have told the driver to slow down or let them out the vehicle! What do they think will happen travelling at those speeds?
