a 2 bed house is 120k (if your lucky) and up

i know its madness. Bens from southampton so he thinks the house prices here are great!
they have gone a lil higher tho since. We just bought this house very cheap needs some doing up. but basically a 3bed semi-detached with gardens, drive and sometimes garage is about 120-150k for a real nice one.
your average "starter" house 2bed terrace is about 80k.

I agree with what Kelly is saying..

Life is very different if your young free and single with no one to look after but yourself..

I look at how much I have spent on cars in the past 3 years and think I may have been a bit silly…

I bought my first house for £135K and a year later sold it for £169K I would not even think about trying to buy a house now as starter homes in Dorset go for £145K easy and that is not an option for me on my own..

So looks like the starlet will keep getting MOD’ed until I either win the lottery or my dad pops it..

yeh Elaine i've never understood how ppl down south etc afford places its a rip off!! it actually forces you to live with your parents etc

Varies each month but I probably spend 30-40% on my car in total. Thats after Rent, Bills, Council Tax etc... Trying to cut down though, must be feeling my age lol
