I was gonna post something like this, deano you are a complete hypocrite, half the things you post on here are about how much quicker your car is compared to this, that and the next.

You complain about the videos of people racing their stock glanza's and how slow they are when as adam says all you have is a derestricted glanza with a filter:eek: that must be quick!I still don't consider my glanza to be that quick and its got a fair few mods.

As many other people have said non of us bought these cars to drive them like a granny, everyone has and probably will again at some point put there foot down when they shouldn't. I know I do and will again, however I always now think about the consequences and the worst case scenario, it soon makes you drive more sensibly.

The consequences are not worth the short adrenaline rush in the long run.

Yes we have all been there and done it, im not going to deny that.
To anyone thinking that they are a brilliant driver, forget it, your not.
Me and my brother found out the hard way (wasnt street racing though) and people dont want that.

Come over to NZ and I will put you in your place mate you don't even know what my car has so stfu and my car ain't stock and plus I ain't an idiot like you to race people to prove who has the bigger cock wtf accidents happen coz people speed innocent people die coz of idiots that race people I don't race anyone just like to get into the lane first my glanza is a hell of alot faster than yours mate far too many people have died from street racing in nz just coz you have a fast car doesn't mean you need to go over 120 km/h that ticket made me learn my lesson and what hot hatches are you talking about? You couldn't even keep up with a slow polo gti that does 0-100 km/h in about 8.4 secs lol lmao bloody hell a stock standard vitz/yaris/echo 1500 cc is almost as fast as that bet you couldn't even beat an automatic 1500 cc vitz rs stop putting my car down you put down my car saying it's stock when yours is twice as stock as mine.

Street racing hmmmmm. Well heres a real life story for you. On the 29th of august last year I was in a car crash at a very high speed. My mate just got his 106 gti back on the raod after getting a new engine and box we were taking it out for a rip that night see how it was going when some stupid motherfu*ker decides to ride the bumper of us looking for a race we were going at a good speed but not looking to race we started slowing down for some traffic calming islands not bothered by the idiot in some kind of vauxhaul behind us. Just before the islands he went to overtake us thinking fare enough we thought away with him he desides to cut in in front of us before the islands instead of keeping to his own side.My mate danced on the brakes to aviod hitting the back of him and anyone who has any experience with these french shopping trolleys will no they get awful light at the back under braking. The back stepped out hitting the island with the left corner rear wheel sending us into a spin and we hit a boulder head on the I got knocked out.When I came to I could'nt move my leg had been snapped in half at the femar I thought the car was going to explode and I was trapped in it horrible feeling.The emergency services arrived and it started pouring rain and I went into shock all I can remember is the blue lights lighting the the dark and the rain hitting my face as I was being cut out of the car it was like one of those adds.I spent ten days in hospital and got a 14" titanium rod put in my leg I was on crutches for five months its still not right to this day I have to go back into surgery to get it removed so I'll be back on them.My leg is an inch shorter than it was.A week before the crash I had just signed a sponsorship deal because I was racing in downhill mountain biking which was my passion I have travelled the world doing it but now I cant even ride a bike because of this its heart breaking the thing I loved the most is gone. I lost the sponsorship after years of racing all my dreams got tossed out the window in a split second. All I have now as a hobby is my Glanza.The worst experience I ever had.
So if you want to go street racing be my quest. You my be the greatest driver in the world but.........

please stop posting shite,all your posts are the same,your glanza is auto and is running an apexi filter,stock exhaust so its pretty much STOCK which isnt anywhere near impressive as you seem to think it is,you have obviously never been in a proper quick car so i guess thats why you dunno the difference.....

This is a stupid thread you dont buy a so called hot hatch to drive it round like a old granny doin a shopping run, ill admitt i go street racin most weekends with hundreds of other people on a quiet industrial estate, and for a place that people go only to race in the last two years iv bin goin there iv seen three crashs and no one got seriously hurt! im not sayin you should drive like a cock every where cus i dnt agree with driving like a nob head in built up areas and that, thts just stupid but people are sayin its always people racin causing crashes?!?!?! havent u thought of the nob heads that dnt have licenses driving arounds crashing and runnin off? and immagrants that dont even know what side of the road to drive on? and old people who have more experience but drive down dual carriage ways on the wrong side of the road and kill car loads of ppl?

Come over to Nz mate or are you too scared stop putting down auto glanzas my mate of this site also has an auto glanza and I get sick to death of people saying glanza autos are slow. They aren't fast just as much as saying my car is stock a car is only stock if it has stock radio, intercooler, alloys, boost etc all of which my car doesn';t have it has aftermarket parts so what if I don't have an exhaust they cost over $800 I am saving up for one next I have timed my car at 7.6 secs to 100 km/h modified the stock time with boost restrictor was 8.2 secs a standard glanza is slow but mine ain't standard

i know what an auto glanza is like,i also know what an auto glanza with a filter is like,top mounts dont add power,theres fuck all difference between stock boost and under fuel cut....you obviously think you have a rocket there but eh...you dont its gonna be running stock power

Corey sorry to hear about your accident, as you say at least you can look back on it though, unlike some people.

The link that was posted here a week or two ago, about the guy who lost control of his teg and was hit by a biker who then almost lost his life was a really eye opening story, I can honestly say I drive a lot more sensibly after reading that.

iv been an idiot in my car and i only drive a mini, but when you loose a freind in a car crash,
