Think you might be right there Sheldon, was soooooooooooooooooo tempted to ban him myself there now but I will leave it upto Dylan to act on this one, I think he will enjoy it as it seems to be directed at him.haha.
Yan if your attitude on this thread is anything to go by you deserved the -1000 rep points you got, the only injustice I can see is the members of this site having to listen to you and all your negative feedback, if the site is soo bad then maybe you might want to think about leaving.

Thats where you went wrong Yan.
Its not the fact you have given a moderator negative rep, its the reason you gave negative rep that has been seen to be abusing the rep system.
The idea of the rep system was to give members rep feedback whether negative or positive depending on the integrity or helpfulness of the information they have posted up. Not to give negative rep because a member has posted something you didn't particularly want to read.
This would have happened regardless of whether you had given the feedback to a moderator or just a simpleton member of the site. You must have been given a second chance by the admin team to rethink the way you give rep, if you ignored this advice from the admin team, you already knew the risks.
This will also not just be limited to yourself, if others treat the rep system in the same way, they will also end up in the same situation as you have found yourself.

I think you have just misunderstood the function of the Reputation function Yan. A simple misunderstanding, no more.
You should judge each post individually on helpfulness and information content. If you target a certain member by using unrelated posts in different threads it is seen as bullying. Then we have to step in.
Due to previous incidents a hardline is taken on messers.

Yan put a post up in the chill out room the title was "What u like in ur car...."
and the first post in the thread was nothing just "...."
I then replied " i hope i'm not the only one thinking this but WTF"
Member rb69 then replied "yeh i dont get it either wtf?!!"
and then Yan deleted his thread
I didnt even swear just used a well known short hand phrase and i didnt even say it harshly or in a bad way.
I believe any other moderator would have just deleted the thread but i was waiting to see if u would reply and explain. Ever since then you have done nothin but leave me negative feedback whenever you can. This is beyond childish.
