Is a RRFPR Really Needed...?

Is it not tuned against revs, never used one so have no idea.

to a certain degree, but it uses the map sensor wire to trick the ecu into adding more or less fuel.

fuel cut also uses this same wire so the safc cant fuel passed this

Can you not increase injector duty? It's surely nothing to do with boost pressure and fuel pressure.

you can increase the injector duty cycle, only by buying a proper ecu, like an emanage or apexi pfc etc etc

a safc does not allow you to increase duty cycle.

no basicaly you than get stuck with it rich for the period between fuel cut and your new full boost, no ideal but will work. Infact the safc is a bit of a crap unit how had is it to modify the inject pulse signals. It'll all just be easier if people stopped being so tight and just buy emanage. Maybe of people weren't being so tight all these years apexi may have still made the pfc.

no you run it rich with the fpr and trim it back down with the safc.

it's just another way of tuning.

and no apexi shouldnt have stop making the pfc

at one bar with a jam or greddy bcc ur fueling should be spot on but and its a big but get it checked just to be sure .

just to put a little info here so all can see and hopefully remember
now u can put on a fcd--preferably clamp type:)....get your car checked for adeqaute fuelling at 1 bar (14/15psi)....NOT need a rrfpr...and be on your merry way:beer:...everyone's happy:haha:

however, let's rememebr these are turbo cars and different conditions sometimes make certain unplanned events occur......let's say like a boost spike......taking your boost to 18/20psi:cool: for a longer than expected period (as we dont drive and look at our boost guages all the time:haha:)....now in this case a rrfpr MAY save your engine

its always best to get the proper fuelling mods (electronic and/or mechanical),, it could save u money in the long run:)....BUT some people get away with it:kiss:, while others dont:slap:

an important rule....NEVER tune your car to its maximum daily/running boost only..always tune it over to be safe...then u can run your daily boost levels with a safety net

As a rule I advise you get your fuelling checked at every step of the way with a wideband.

There are cases of FCD's and FCC's running well without additional fuelling but this should NEVER be the assumed case. Get it checked professionally.

Fuelling is not a guessing game.
