i need spigot rings for my wheels to, and i have the same ones as you riko. when i went to a local wheel specialist they said the cant get spigot rings, to fit the size of the watanbe's and the standard hub, they said they will have to make them specially out of aluminium, at the cost of £25 per ring

I had a problem with my Impreza, the wheel nuts on one wheel decided to all come loose, couldn't work out what it was, Was getting really confused untill my next door neighbour told me she scared someone off the day before who looked like they were trying to steal my wheels.
F*cking Pikeys :shoot:

well I came back from Kwik-Fit, and they were just numpties...thought I didn't tighten the wheels up enough, used their knuckle bar ratchet and said "hmm, well they seem to be tight enough...don't know what it is". I contemplated the pikeys thing Pete, pretty sure it was pikey the first time this happened, last November...but the other two times the car was in the garage and I had just put the wheel back on after tinkering with my death trap...

Well I'll buy spigot rings on monday, then I'm sending in the car to get some issues ironed out - will get the wheel issue inspected as well...Could just be alignment as I know that's out of whack, and the track rod ends could be dead too

thanks - it's more to do with me being a stubborn, hard-headed Italian more than anything :( :p hehe

And I'm getting 54 - 60mm Spigot rings chap...well, they're 59.82mm to be precise, but yeah...I'll forward you the eGay link when the guy confirms he has those ones in stock

It's probably a combination of the coilovers, nuts and spigot rings rather than one thing on it's own.

I can bet heat from the brakes is expanding the nuts quick than the lugs, not normally an issue, but combined with rock hard coilovers and the lack of spigot rings means the wheel isn't hubcentric as Ollie said, setting it off centre and loosening the already warm nuts.

this issue has been sorted out (hopefully)...

Turns out, the monkey wrench (spanner is too polite) that Refurbished my wheels, powdercoated the seating area of the lugnuts...over time the pressure of the lugnuts actually squeezed out the plastic/ceramic of the powdercoating to the point where they stuck onto the lugnuts, and acted as a "lube"...Garage ground off all the powdercoating, wire-brushed the lugnuts and it's all been fine and dandy since

Oh, and my rear brake caliper is COMPLETELY seized, and I mean the guy couldn't wind it in...and the brake pads are crumbling...woops :p
