Just wondering what other starlet owners are using clutch wise for 200+ bhp motors?

Arigato Adam-san! Errr, Kelly....Google, Language tools :p But yeah, the gearbox is at 250,000yen, which is around £1000. Pretty sure it's the Starlet GT one...it's a C34 regardless

Hey Kelly you should modify your auto you would get low 15 sec quarter mile times I'm modifying mine slowly and I am aiming for 170 hp+ the auto is capable for up to 200 hp

I am running a CAP clutch, cheap as chips...less than £200 and I had everything full balanced.

To be honest, I am not sure where the cost goes with these expensive clutches. Probably because they are JDM yO.

I'm still running a standard clutch on mine running 225bhp and 180ft/lbs, its never slipped once, but I want more power so its being changed regardless of working or not.

running 200bhp and an exedy organic clutch, no slippage and is pretty good as a daily drive, in traffic etc.

My mates running a cusco racing clutch in his ek9 and i can barely push the pedal lol need legs like arnie!!

yeah the organic clutch is more than ample for a lot of power, just wouldnt take many flat out launches i would imagine. although it is nice to have a weakest link some where that isnt the gearbox!
