Does anyone know if a K24 will fit the same mani??
Or will a turbo specialist be able to upgrade it in any way??

i am not a track or strip man myself i would be to scared lol and to answer your question , i dont have a clue lol happy searching

you only noticed that i am useless now lol i do not have a clue about cars /engines /turbos etc i dont go around pretending i do either lolthe only knowledge i have now is what i picked up off this site and the k 26 is not in my category:p:p:p

K26 will give you plenty of power. Just get used to driving round lag and a fairly abrupt power delivery. 1.6bar is about where you need to be at, with a forged engine. Should see a solid 275+ bhp.

Yeah, as Gord states it'll give you all the power you require.

Lag isn't too bad depending on the setup but once you see 1.6 bar you will forget about the wait and start concentrating on holding on.

K24 is smaller and will fit the same manifold (it's just an adaptor plate in the Blitz kits which fits the stock manifold).

Cheers for the input guys, and as you say im sure i willbe more than happy with the power.
Am hoping for around 1.5-1.6 bar so should be good :D
Can i get any upgrades on the K26? from a turbo specialist...

yeah though i think it was essentially a k24 hybrid(k26 comp) not sure if he had the k26 hybrid with somethign bigger again>? he is running a vf22 atm.

btw if im not mistaken there are 2 different k26 turbos.. drop a PM to Killamats he knows some about them.

blitz and KKK.

blitz k24 is an inferior turbo to a stock td04l. in both spool up and topend, from what we have seen.
