Our TT bush sets, they are made by powerflex. We had to buy all the orignal bushes brand new, take off whatever they connected e.g a lower arm bar on the Starlet, fit the new ones to the arms, send the arms with the new bushes to them so they could replicate them, then send back to us to test, then re-adjust and test again until they were perfect. Took months to do and cost a fortune.

Whiteline don't make any separate bushes they are all our own design (well we copied Toyota) and don't worry the full sets are coming out, have over 100 here sitting looking pretty just not selling until we re-open ;)

I also still need to test the rear trailing arms and we won't full out, it's in there interest not too we spend thousands with them and have sold over 100 mounts already, thats 300 bushes.

after sx-turbo's post about the TRD engine mount stopping the rattle of the UR 4 points arb against the exhaust I fitted it last week-end. Now it still rattles but alot less (Daveb's exhaust).
Now at lunch time I jacked the car up and put some exhaust heat wrap (held on with a mixture of metal and plastic cable ties) on the bar were it was rubbing. Now its all as quite as a dog's fart.

my dog once farted and we heard him clearly:p

good that you sorted that but wouldnt plastic cable ties melt with the heat of the exhaust?

dirty dog :0 must be that rich maltese diet.

yes I'd say so, I used metal cable ties close to the exhaust and then plastic ones at the ends I'd say about 3 to 4 inches away from the exhaust ;)

was gonna say, i heat wrapped my exhaust at weekend, and put a few extra layers around the lower arm bar, and you now cant hear it
rattling.

Think I'll be adding some to the exhaust too just to be extra quiet ;) just ran out of time this savo

Out of interest, which lower arm bar will give the best clearance (from the exhaust, not the ground)?

I reckon it'll be the Cusco, but I've just had to remove my Whiteline item as its hitting the exhaust far too much :( (removed it when I had my SPS items fitted)

Any suggestions?

Thanks folks

Dave

I would say the Ultra Racing, I know it's a four point but the rear points are raised and it has a slightly bigger curvature to the cusco, Buddy Club Spec 2, HKS Silent and 5Zigen Pro Spec A all cleared mine, Nur Spec didn't. Eventually ran a side exit so no problem there!
