but on some actual insurance certificates it says

"drive any other car not belonging to you, but have the owners permission"

and under that basis u can.

lol thanks for ur posts lads, car is now sitting safe and sound on my driveway :D

and no i didnt read the small print. so looks like i was driving uninsured yesterday.

oops, all sorted now though.

yeah i know, i was very lucky, there was loads of police about yesterday to.

but i genuinely didnt know the car wasnt insured, i was in a rush and didnt read the small print :(

the car is excellent, needs some work doing but all in all its pretty good

yeah a think they only really stop you if you give them a reason to stop you.. your heart would have sank a few times if you did know lol
