i get 220miles out of £30, and i drive it day in, day out. super unleaded of course. think it works out at 32mpg. thats with her on high boost all the time - 170odd bhp.

not too bad i reckon. alot easier than, say an mr2 etc.

Last I was aware, an ep82 has a 31 litre tank ? (30 plus 1 litre reserve)
I've had 500km once and the car was red light on, needle off the bottom of the gauge.

Well i was almost sure a glanza had the same size tank, I have various receipts varying from 34-37 litres being filled up, so MY tank at least is 40~ litres :homer:

When I had my GT, I used to get between 180-200 miles on a full tank the brim tank but when I fitted the Blitz ECU, it shot upto an average of 220 miles to the same tank WTF????

I know it sounds mad but that's exactly what happened.

LOL ur joking aren't ya??! Wait until you get a bigger performance car then you'll realize these cars are definately not expensive in any way!

well my dad runs a gtr r32 at around 470 bhp and thats mint on fuel we can get about 2 hours drive out a tenner lol

What?

A FULL tank at £27 roughly means your tank is 30 litres.. that isn't right lol

I never let it completey run in and never let the light come on mate. Ive always got a small amount of petrol left as the only Shell station i use is 10miles from me.

Ah right, well I can put 35 ish litres in just as the light comes on in the glanza, and I'd say i get about 250 miles out of that 35 litres before the light comes on again.. not too bad.. i think it works out about 30mpg but cant remember the formula :D

Mine uses none.

Check for the exhaust smoke colour to see if its the turbo seals, bearings etc

in regards to oil usage:
-what oil do you use?
-when was it last changed?
-do you have any leaks?
-is blue smoke visible?
-if so does it blue smoke more in any particular routines, like after going for a run, stopping for a short period, then re starting and producing big clouds?(this would be more noticable if you have a de cat)
-does your car run at correct running temp?(around half way on the gauge,
-are your boost pipes wet inside with oil?
answer these questions if you can, the more factors you can state the easier it will be to get pointers in the right direction:)

so back to the original question what about oil ?? how much does your car burn ?
should only burn off such a small amount that you probably wouldn't notice from service to service, few hundred ml max(few mm on the stick)
I wonder why the oil question is not being answered...
come on guys, lets not ignore this one.

i've tried to help, but its been ignored so far!
possible that its breather pcv valve related.

my car smokes but not blue since i decated it it has smoked more but appears to be vapour. The oil breather at the top of my engine is always getting alot of oil on it and so far touch wood theres no blue smoke. i do not have oil in my intercooler pipes as iv took my dumpvalve off this weekend and there was no excess oil inside the valve
