Starlets? Expensive to run?

PAH!

Mine used to average out at 27mpg, which is with mostly local driving and liberal application of the LOL pedal. The 1.7 Puma I'm knocking about in is currently averaging at 24mpg according to the app on my phone.

Ironically, I bought it to save money. :homer:

sounds like a problem with a pcv valve(plastic valves on breather pipes)

what brand and weight of oil you using?

also are you running at correct running temp??

my engine runs spot on i use castrol gtx oil part syn ill recon ill have to get a new pcv valve or can i clean the current one ??

Can't belive how well these are on mpg, the swift does 25-29mpg. Think the de cat doesn't help. Book says they should do 38mpg. LOL
