I have seen stock engines with flat spots in them before, but it could be an exhaust problem.
2" might be a bit tight, if it is it will release more top end power for you, looks like you are lacking a bit in that department lol.
It could also be the length of your exhaust that is causing a problem. These engines usually run with a short exhaust, on the MR2 yes?
I know with minis they used to put a side exit exhaust on and dyno them, cutting an inch of the exhuast each time. When the power went down they welded an inch back on.
If Fensport tuned it, dont waste time listening to amatures like us but. Ask them of their thoughts, if they tuned it they should be available for after sales advice.
