finally lowered that back end!

its a lot lower than i thought it would go tbh, not too low, just right!
Ive got the wheels off the passenger side and rubbed down for paint so there are 13's on the passenger side so its not sitting right atm. The wheels are really growing on me now, cant wait to see them painted.

what springs did you fit on the back mate? they look pretty low considering. dont think my meisters go much lower than that!

thanks lads, aye the wheels are a bit marmite, getting mixed opinions on them. They are growing on me tho and will look loads better when painted.

Duncan - it was the springs that came from japan on my old glanza, they where crazy low on that, i had to cut a bit of the coil to get the shoulders of the spring cups to meet up properly but never took much hieght off them. I was going to cut a coil or 2 off for the time bieng until i could afford coilovers, Im glad i didnt now or it would have been scrapping along the floor haha

I'm sure they wheels were on a silver Glanza I saw on it's roof near dobbies in bearsden lol.
It's comin on nice Charlie, I'm shocked at how low the back went too though considering the AWDs have comedy ride height even when lowered.

lol they did come off a silver glanza from up that way funnilly enough but it hadnt been on its roof, i didnt think it was going to go as low either, im glad i tried them on b4 cutting them. i was going to just cut a coil off then see how they sat.

ive had a bit of a set back getting this registered, ive lost my driving licence and the paper part! The DVLA wont let me register the car until i have my new 1 so i had to order a replacment, ill hopefully have that next week and i can finally get it on the road, its pissing me off walking past it every day!

got these through aswell, im going to paint the wheels black with the same blue as the nuts on the lip

update!
got a glanza bonnet at last lol took forever to find 1, got it in the same colour too so saves me painting it

off to toyota next week for some fresh glanza headlights then get my fenders and bumper into paint cant wait!


iv also givin my wheels a quick rattle can job to tidy them up, gettin new wheels for summer but these came out quite well

masked up again and spokes painted

finished result

still need to tidy up a few little bits and give them a few coats of laquer but im quite happy with them

sorry for the shit photos. Its sitting in the car park at my flat and i cant move it

i still havnt even washed it since ive had it as its not bieng used anyway! got some parts going in for paint next week so im gonna ask if he will machine polish the whole car for me
