Dane all you had to do was ask m8, should have thought really, forum goers do like to know the ins and outs of a ducks ass..lol..
I did try it leaner in the spool stages but it just seemed to kill power, likes to be rich in the middle yours.

Its good result, I think the turbo has/will never made the whp figures it was sold as being capeable of, its too small.

with all due respect, i was running a'fs of 12.2, 12.4 on WOT & 9 deg advance over stock till the top..

look at his graph u can tell how safe it is lol... oh & i was running egt's of 920~950deg celcius.. there was no detonation.. & yes it was at 1.3bar i didnt push more cause i had stock rods..

greddy rate that turbo till 360ps if u bother looking at the catalogue..

@ Dane, very nice result man, am glad to finally see a printout of that turbo on a propper rr.. as u justly said that turbo still has ALOT more to offer, & im sure with a few degrees of timing u can get a good 30bhp easy bud

For now enjoy then maybe do some tasty tweaks later on

Unfortunately Danes car wouldn't take another few degrees, not without spitting its dummy out.
I spent a bit of time with Dane asking exactly what he wanted from it, and reliability was paramount, with this is mind I have left it quite rich at the top end.
With a reduction in charge temps and a tweak to the mixture at the top end there may be more power available @ the current boost levels and the ability to raise the boost some more.

Indeed you done a good job mate i am happy with it. I wanted reliability and that is what i will get with this setup. The boost comes in very hard and it bloody shows on the road that's forsure lol.

AFr looks very nice, when boost kicks in it enriches very nice.

i'm hoping on slightly the same curve, maybe some rpm ealier as mine is a 5E and would be set @ 1.0 bar for starters

i will keep you posted on my results, first get my cooling sorted tomorrow.
