did not read everything so if it is mensioned above, my bad. i know what the block guards are for but what i wanna know is why honda would design an engine that could wobble internally, whats the purpose of it, there must be one, honda clearly know what they were doing its more i dont know what honda are doing lol, is it a cooling thing or were they just short on metal that day lol

That would be the water ways.......

The block is not a full cast block, like the 4e.
The casing is a cast alloy, and the liners are steel.

Perfectly fine.

On standard liners they canm take a bar very safely, start pushing it a bit and they will become the weak point.

People have run more on standard liners for years, i think its luck of the draw, and the map.

think you hav made alot of the points clear for me already :), yea they are well able for a bar standard and can be pushed more but as you said it is down to the map alot of the time .
ill be pushing it well over a bar and should be grand but if it breaks ill fix it and dont mind as i no ill be pushing it hard ,will be interesting to see what power will be got out of a b16a :drive:

Im a Honda fan myself, the twin has just finished the build of the CRX with the T35 snail strapped to the side.

I think he will be running around a bar once run in a bit, should hopefully be around the 300hp mark.
