i like it alot.
i used to use the work safe theme so hope that they have some similar again. bit soon to judge though as they havent even finished updating. so wait and see

I love it because my girl was always on to me for spending my time on that RED CAR SITE but now I say I ant on it no more :)

Great, I share your thoughts too much white and my eyes hurt. If it could be along the same lines or as close as the old colour scheme then that would be great, just my opinion.

I like the clean look

But
My top 2 wish list items are -

A contrasting bright colour ( maybe arrow green ) on the actual page number to help when paging through threads.

Soothing the black lines on the what's new page.

I appreciate the work that has gone into changing it over, maybe a test environment with the finalised changes should have been done first before making it 'live' and subject to critism. Anyway, it does look more professional and has improved over the past day, but I definitely think some additional colour schemes are needed. At least then users can choose which ones they want. Additionally, I don't like the reputation system that's now here. The older one was better.

how about we wait till they say its finished and make our comments then.
at the end of the day not everyone is going to like it and some people will just take time getting used to it. British people hate change - fact lol

Dont bother mate, Ive said that numerous times already over the past couple of days. Ultimately if people cant wait while we get the forum completely re-configured from scratch and it hurts their eyes too much then I think they are being a little over dramatic. The forum software is still the same and is 100% usable.

When we moved from phpbb to vbulletin we went through a transitional period of tweaking, its normal but unfortunately some people think you flick a switch and it all works.

Considerable expense, time and effort are going in to this change in order to keep the security of our forum tight and allow for new additional features.

Is there going to be a blackberry friendly version at all? as the new version doesnt display on my BB properly, I dont mind, it just means i have more to look forward to when i get home!

Once the main theme is done we might look at creating a totally chopped down work friendly theme with images and stuff removed but that is months away yet.
