They'll take you to court to recover what they had to pay though, and they will win.

Not necessarily. When i spoke to my insurers when i crashed, they said they would pay costs to both parties but would not cover the cost for undeclared mods. Luckily everything was declared.

I bet they'd change their tune if it turned out your undeclared mod was a contibuting factor to the crash.

X2 if they can find away of not paying out they will...

When they came out to asses my FRST on there paper work it was down as a XR2i and they tryed to get out of paying, but i had insured it as a FRST and my insurance new about the engine change...
