and thats with a fpr, amagine with proper management!!

must of been a quality job you did on the engine mate

ta the ported head has a lot to do with the power figure, but i reckon it'll shine even more with the bigger turbo on.

the tuner said the fuelling was spot on with the FPR, they're crude but effective :)

not quite, it has a jam manifold on and blueflame exhaust, and slightly increased boost (1psi)

the jam mani probably won't release any power but the exhaust deffo would have cos the original one was tiny

Really good result mate, afterall it's still blowing from the same old ct9! The ported head did help a lot, me think. Thumb up!

I see.

Maybe a good 15hp from headwork or more?

i'd say so, but i believe the headwork will really come in to play once a bigger turbo is fitted.

Ashley, one of the lads who built my engine, has seen 30+bhp pulled from porting an NA engine, and has pulled around 50BHP from a YB cossie head and is confident on getting similar gains on mine once the setup is right.

Did you sort your little boost issue out Ian??? Nice figures you deserve some good figures you and your mates have put a lot of effort in to that car...Can't wait to see the hybrid kick some ass.

it still pulses a bit between 16 and 18psi, but it doesn't seem to affect the car, gonna try and put a restrictor in between the turbo and actuator to see if it reduces the problem.

seriously this motor is gonna be a scream.

Now that's what I call a nice power curve. Nice and smooth!
Also cool you've broken the 200hp mark with the std. ct9.

I also wished that I've done some headwork :p
