I have a set of TRD ones mate they give quiet alot of vibration but to be totally honest that does not bother me in the slightest. They are very good mounts and are definatly up for the job. I would recommend a set to anyone who owns a starlet its a sound investment that you will not regret.

there is only one set of mounts to get and thats the TRD ones, the OE ones are way to expensive and cost more than the trd ones.

the other option is to fill your existing mounts with window sealant, this does a very good job also.

BYP in America, the well reknowned 4efte/Tercel Specialists in Miami - can make you Polyurethane version of your mounts, but it's on an exchange basis as in they need yours for the mold

dont think so mate. think you have to keep the stock mount, or buy a toyota oe replacement. you could always fill your current one with resin and then get trd mounts for the other 2

Correct me if i am wrong but the LSD does not alter the shape of the gearbox its fits inside the excisting gearbox ? So you should not have any problems when fitting the TRD Engine Mount Set.

Banned - DO NOT BUY FROM TOYTUNING
The stock LSD is a bolt on affair, literally attaches to the side of the housing meaning you need a different rear mount, TRD used to make one but they don't anymore. Conventional aftermakrket diffs that go in the box mean you can use all three TRD mounts.

Riko that BYP, can you access there website as can't this end.

Best Regards,

T

No the site's been down for a while but if you're on Tercelonline.com the user is...well I forgot his username but his name is Trevor, and he's the Big Kahuna - no really, he wears a Grass skirt and clutches a Coconut shell full of Piña Colada all day

Give Steven a dingdongdingaling for his contact details

on each engine mount there is gaps between the rubber and metal, these gaps are there on purpose, you feel these gaps with tiger seal let it dry and jobs a good un, rock hard engine mounts. i dont know how long it lasts.

not exactly sure what resin you need, but you just remove a mount, pack it with resin and let it harden off over night, refit it then do the next mount. it wont last forever but will get you through. i id notice your mounts were pretty sloppy at the japshow!

just remember, the stiffer things are and the more load and vibration you subject the chassis too the higher the likelyhood of seams splitting or other damage being done to the chassis
