okaaaaaaaay

there are two different ogura 309... one works with OEM bearing, the other with ORC. the ORC one, if you press out the bearing out of the shell its got, you can take it as a sample and go to a KOYO dealer, and buy a new bearing. press it in again, done.

i had written a whole post on this with part numbers etc...

about the one overhaul kit not having a pressure plate? well, thats what it says...also it doesnt mention if its the spring type disc or not.

when i overhauled mine i just bought a disc and a bearing (bastard rhd made me pay 90 euros for a toyota OEM bearing...)

ive went ahead and ordered the disc,i may just get a standrad bearing too as im not paying rhd's prices for one.

im in same boat as johnny have fooked orc 309 ere at home with no release bearing and dont know what discs it needs kinda different towards a normal clutch id be working with everyday

well ive ordered up a disc from rhd,and christyep91 got me a spacer custom made for the bearing,so ill use a standard bearing with it.
ill let you know how i fare out matty.

I'd assume it would be the rattle suppressed version (309ds) that doesn't work with the OEM bearing since it's obviously the newer one. I don't know if Blitz updated to the rattle suppressed one, I would doubt they did so the OEM bearing should be fine.

I ordered the replacement friction disc alone as shown above and it works fine in my Blitz.

may be a stupid question, but does the blitz active kit come with the release bearing? is this kit the same as the orc, if so possibley needing a new release bearing to fit?

edit: not the same as the orc! obviously they are both single plate clutches, i mean is the blitz the same meaning i may potentially need a new release bearing for this to work?
